Don't buy a bunch of tools, use ours.

Make Anything You Can Imagine

Our 28,000 square foot facility is packed with tools and top end equipment and has lots of room for you to create. With our classes and help you can make anything. If you have something specific in mind, contact us with questions. If you have the maker urge to step away from your desk and build something, but you're not sure what you want to make, check out our project classes. See some samples of what you could make with us.  We have an informal video tour available.

Our Tools

As a member you get access to all of our tools. The most up-to-date list is on our wiki. To name a few:

  • Laser Cutters - 3, including a 100 watt, large bed machine

  • 3D printers - 5 Prusa i3 MK3

  • Comprehensive Textile Area, including a walking foot machine and a serger

  • Barudan 15-thread CNC embroidery machine

  • Full Woodshop - all the tools

  • ShopBot CNC router

  • Electronics Bench

  • Vinyl Cutter

  • Heat Press

  • Direct to Fabric printer

  • Our Community Build Tables

Members can reserve a machine for 2 hours a day, 6 hours a week. If the machine is not reserved by someone else, you can work more hours on a machine but need to yield to another member who has not used up their time. If you have a need to run a tablesaw all day long, or a laser cutter for 4 hours every day, we may ask you to buy a more expensive membership. Our objective is to make sure we equitably share the machines between all members.

We have classes on how to use all of our equipment and software. Starter classes cover basic operation and safety and last one to two hours. After completing a starter class you may reserve the machines and use them to make things.

For new makers we provide a number of self-study projects. They grow from simple to more complex. Each project is meant to exercise your skills in a particular area. If you complete all these projects you will be very comfortable using all kinds of different tools and their software.

And, our staff and Consulting Makers are always available to help you.
