We teach classes in how to use all of our tools. If you don't know what to make, then take one of our project classes and be proud of something you have created. (See some cool projects our members have made.)
All classes take place in our makerspace: 234 East Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, CA.
You can find classes on our current class calendar.
Basic Operation and Safety Standards (BOSS)
Don't know how to use a table saw, 3D printer, laser cutter, sewing machine? Don't worry. Maker Nexus offers a complete set of classes to take you from know-nothing to ready-to-work. Our BOSS classes teach you the basics to be able to safely operate our tools. Once you are a member you can request additional sessions of a BOSS class via Slack.
Do you want to build something? We offer a number of build-in-a-day classes that will give you the satisfaction of completing a project. A dovetail drawer. A leather purse. A home monitoring system. All kinds of classes to help you improve your maker skills and learn new skills. It's all about continuing education. Every maker does it, and you can do it here. We will announce classes in our newsletter.
We are always looking for instructors and course designers; if you are interested in joining the team, email us: firstname.lastname@example.org
