Youth Maker Camp

Gain Exposure to All Aspects

of the Makerspace!

  • Students in Grades 6 through 9

In this camp, students will learn 3D and 2D Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Product Design, 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and Etching, Multiple Woodworking Tools and Safety, Textile Patterns and Sewing, and Vinyl Cutting & Heat Press in an action-packed, skill-building, and memory-filled five days.

 

The camp runs from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM each day at Maker Nexus, 234 East Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, CA. The camp cost includes the $650 camp fee and a $50 materials fee (this is the cost of the 3D filament, laser material, and textile material). Each student takes home everything they make.

We also offer After Hours sessions for students who can't be picked up immediately after camp at a rate of $25 per hour. Students will remain supervised and may continue working for up to three hours after camp finishes. If you want to arrange for After Hours sessions, please send an email after registering for the camp to training@makernexus.org
