Youth Lego Monster Robotics Camp
Learn Robotic Basics with EV3
5 days, 9 am - 3 pm
Students in Grades 3 through 5
234 East Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale
Campers will design, build and code robots using LEGO’s most advanced and newest robotics technology – the powerful EV3 in an action-packed, skill-building, confidence-building, and memory-filled five days.
From LEGO robots to CAD design and 3D printing, campers will get a hands-on, stimulating experience with technology that lays a foundation for lifetime fun, challenging experiments, and employment skills.
Campers will gain the knowledge, practice, experience, and confidence to create and command their own robotic LEGO creatures, vehicles, machines and inventions.
In addition to technical competency, campers will graduate with improved critical thinking, communication, collaboration, teamwork, and creativity skills.
Campers can work in pairs or individually with a curriculum designed for fun rather than the stress of competition while learning design, coding and teamwork skills that can lead to joining advanced robotic clubs and groups.
The camp runs from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM each day at the Maker Nexus makerspace, 234 East Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, CA. The 5-day camp cost is $400.
We also offer After Hours sessions for students who can't be picked up immediately after camp at a rate of $25 per hour. Students will remain supervised and may continue working for up to three hours after camp finishes. If you want to arrange for After Hours sessions, please send an email after registering for the camp to firstname.lastname@example.org
Each camp session is limited to 10 students, so sign up now to assure your spot.
