Welders in the Community Program

Tuesday and Thursday Welding Cohort
Class Meeting Days: 10:00am to 4:30pm - June 21, 23, &  July 5, 7, 19, 21
Location: Maker Nexus 1330 Orleans Drive, Sunnyvale CA
  • VTA Light Rail system closests station - Crossman Station (0.5 mile,10 minute walk)
What to Bring to Class:
  • Unbreakable water bottle with lid
  • Sack Lunch (we have a microwave, toaster oven, hot water kettle and refrigerator)
  • Proper clothing 
    • Cotton, wool, or leather clothing only - no synthetic clothes or shoes
    • Long pants
    • Closed toed/heeled shoes
    • Long sleeve shirt, or short sleeved shirt if you will be wearing a welding jacket that will be provided
    • Something to hold long hair back and in place
  • A Learning Attitude​

If you are going to miss a class please let the instructor know ASAP. There may be opportunity to make up missed days, but no guarantees. ​
