Depending on the chosen project, your team will spend 2 - 4 hours together in our shop making needed furniture or items which will be donated to the Bay Area Furniture Bank (BAFB), the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy, Little Free Library and other local non-profits in need of custom items.
Maker Nexus' expert woodworkers design the pieces needed and will teach and guide your team to fabricate the items. We provide the materials, the tools, and machines to mill and assemble the pieces. Your team just has to come ready to have fun and build for good.
The event is set up for a team of 8 - 15 people. However, we can accommodate teams of up to around 30 with modification on the project build.
We are happy to provide catering for refreshments, lunch, or dinner.
