Maker Nexus Youth Camps
Intensive 3-hour, 1-day, and 4 to 5-Day Experiences
We offer a variety of camps of different lengths for a range of age groups. Our camps are typically offered during school holiday breaks and summer, but we are able to customize camp experiences for youth outside the break schedule. Just email us with your request details and we will work with you to build a camp to your needs.
Each class takes place in our 28,000 square foot makerspace in Sunnyvale, CA.

LEGO® Education Adventures
Two Levels to Choose From
Offered July - August
(6-10 year-olds)
Level 1: BricQ Motion - This level 1camp is perfect for first-time LEGO® engineers wanting to develop their building and component application skills. This camp engages students in STEAM learning as they experiment with forces, motion, and interactions in the physical world.
Camp Dates: July 25 - 29, August 15-19,
Level 2: BricQ SPIKE - This level 2 camp combines the fun-with-physics of the the BricQ Motion platform with the energizing techno-STEAM investigations of the SPIKE platform. The addition of the SPIKE intelligent hardware expands the possibility of the hands-on cross-curricular engagements of our LEGO® camps.

Summer Camps

Beginning Woodworking (10-17 year-olds) - multiple session dates to choose from for our basic woodworking skill development and simple wood projects camp

Intermediate/Advance Woodworking (11-17 year-olds) - develop greater woodworking skills through designing and building more complex wood projects

Camp Arduino MouseBot (12-17 year-olds) - build and program Arduino projects

Dungeon Makers' Guild (10-17 year-olds) - create scene props, cast resin dice, 3D print miniatures and counters, laser cut deck box, and join the fun with daily DnD campaigns.

Design Maker: Escape the Summer Escape Room Maker (10-17 year-olds) - what's more fun than escaping an escape room? Designing one.

Welding - learn Stick, TIG and MIG welding, as well as safety and basic welding and plasma cutting techniques and skills:

Rocketry (12-17 year-olds) - come design, build and launch rockets.

Microsmithing (12-17 year-olds) - Blacksmithing, but in miniature - smaller hammers, smaller forge, smaller projects. Build a mini sword and scabbard.

Build-A-Clock Soldering Project (10-17 year-olds) - develop electronic and soldering skills while building a digital clock.
